FRANCESCA BINI is a Somatic-Existential Psychotherapist, Nature-Connected Coach, and End-of-Life Doula specialized in working with Depression, Attachment Trauma, Dissociation/Depersonalization, Spiritual/Existential Crises, Grief/Loss, and Life Transitions.
Her mission is to promote personal and social healing through the integration of cutting-edge neuroscience with contemplative practices grounded in the wisdom of the body and our connection to nature.
Previously, Francesca worked at SPAN and WINGS, supporting adult women who survived domestic violence and childhood sexual abuse in reclaiming their bodies and their power. She has also worked for J-SAT and FOCUS Re-Entry as an MI trainer and coach supporting parole officers and inmates in making healthy and sustainable changes in their lives.
Currently, she works one-on-one with individuals looking to process overwhelming emotions, heal and shift old patterns, and re-align with a sense of aliveness and purpose.
Her body-centered approach integrates verbal psychotherapy, movement, shadow work, nature-based practices, creative ritual, and parts work (Internal Family Systems) to promote insight, healing, and transformation.
She is the co-founder of IrisBridge where she works as an educator for individuals and organizations providing trainings in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Authentic Movement (AM). She is also a certified End-of-Life Doula and facilitates weekly Grief Groups for individuals who are processing significant losses in their lives.
Her free time, Francesca enjoys wildcrafting medicinal herbs, chatting with archetypes, and playing with animals
I am so glad you have found this page. My name is Naeya (formerly Francesca Bini) and in the human world I show up as a Somatic-Existential Psychotherapist, University Professor, and Medicine Woman practicing out of Boulder, CO.
I specializes in working with adults facing into big life-transitions and existential crises who are exploring and re-organizing their sense of identity to allow for more freedom and self-authorship.
While I have been working as a coach, therapist, and guide for the last 10 years, it was not until more recent experiences of awakening that I fully understood the depth of my own commitment to freeing myself from any leftover barriers to full presence and joyful surrender. What I previously understood as a “belief“ (about suffering or wellbeing), is now more integrated in me as a knowing: the knowing that there is no greater joy than being part of the murmuration of birds as they dance with one another. But I digress.
I see the different shades of distress and suffering we can experience as the echos and remnants of old structures of thinking and behaving which are no-longer helpful — straightjackets which have kept us safe and alive in the past and which, at some point, we are ready to outgrow. I see this at both the individual and collective scale. When we are ready to begin our healing journey anything coming into our path becomes an object of meditation and since how we relate to the “external“ world is how we treat ourselves, mutual healing is not only possible but the
But the process of awakening and liberation can be… tumultuous. There may be grieving to do as we allow the past to be released. Emotional/energetic waves of release may be scary to go through alone. We may need somebody to hold us in non-judgment and love as we learn how to do that for ourselves. We may want a friendly being to teach us skills and reflect when we may be getting stuck into an old pattern that limits our capacity for joy and play.
That’s where I come in to support you in your unique journey.
